Crownless: The Fallen World - Chapter 19
“Oh? What are you doing here, Seb?” Kassean suspiciously asked Aires while holding and reading his paperwork.
“You called, right?” He asked.
Kassean stopped reading, blankly looking at the tall male. Then something dawned upon him when he saw Hale looking at the paintings in the room, “Ah yeah. I just wanted to ask if you ever wanted a residency code and if you want, I can also reserve you a hotel room for you and your precious companion. Is it good?”
“That’s convenient! So, how?” Aires excitedly asked. But then, he might even go to another place because of the mission, “I have a question though.”
“Fire away.”
“Is it permanent? The residency code of Gavin City, that is.”
“Yes. But to people like us, who have our Holowrist built in, we can change residency codes as we pleased. Some people in the High Order chose only one residency code as they wanted to stay loyal to their territory,” Kassean filled up the form for Hale and Aires before handing the papers to the two.
“Fill this up first then pass it to me. I’ll do the procedure myself since it requires the cooperation of the High Order because of the Holowrist.”
Aires nodded, handing the form to Hale. He sat next to the smaller male as they filled the form together. Once Aires was done, he waited for Hale to finish then he passed it to Kassean, “All filled.”
“I already reserved a hotel room for the both of you. Go to the Starframe Hotel under the reservation of Lord Aires,” Kassean paused as realization hit him, “Oh right… it’s your first time here. Ask Arya to take you to the hotel. I’ll send the residency code into your hotel room. Furthermore, once you received it, you have to let your Holowrist consume the card. Once it was done, the residency code can appear and disappear on your right back hand. All clear?”
“Crystal clear,” Both of the male nodded then left the room. Hale took the initiative to approach Arya, “Miss Arya, Kassean told us to make you take us to the Starframe Hotel.”
“Did he? Alrighty then~ Lez go!” She bumped her fist in the air, skipping happily towards the roof.

“You see that big glass building? That’s the Starframe Hotel. It’s extremely gorgeous when it’s night. It’s not called Starframe for nothing! Now go! Tomorrow, I’ll visit you and will drag you both for a huge tour!” Arya enthusiastically waved goodbye then ran as her figure disappeared in the crowd.
They didn’t even got the chance to wave goodbye too since the girl suddenly turned around and ran without giving them a chance to bid anything. Without any choice, they entered the building, a cool air hit their face as a line of people welcomed them, “Welcome, Lord Aires!”
Hale poked the taller’s side and whispered, “Am I just an invincible person to a lot of people here? It’s getting on my nerves, really.”
Aires could only laugh at the grumbling male. He spoke to the people, “I certainly liked this warm welcome. Me and my companion here, Lord Hale Grafton, are too tired and we need to rest for our long tomorrow.”
Once of the male clerks came and greeted them, “Welcome too, Lord Grafton. Please do follow me to your room.”
They followed the male who entered the elevator, pressing the 6th floor.
“There’s a penthouse, should we go later?” Hale broke the silence along the motion of the lift.
“Of course, if it’s allowed,” Aires shrugged then asked the male clerk, “Excuse me, are we allowed to enter the penthouse?”
“Of course. The Lord specifically said that you two are deemed as VIPs.”
The elevator dinged, doors slide open, then the three came out. They walked at the hallway, the soles of their shoes echoed as they stepped on the shining white tiles. When the male clerk stopped at Room 613, he gave them the room key card, “If you need any services, please push the green button on the left side of this door and red if it’s an emergency. Enjoy your stay.”
Aires watched the clerk entered the elevator as he bowed while Hale inserted the card in the slot, entering the room. Then Aires followed inside.
The place was not that huge but large enough to contain 5 rowdy people. The whole room was carpeted with dark blue, the closed curtains were of the same color, the gray sofas and a glass coffee table sat at the living room with a television, the kitchen that had an island, and one…
“FCKING HELL?! ONE BEDROOM?!” Hale slammed the bedroom door open and saw a king sized bed.
“..” Aires went silent, pointing at the door, “I’ll sleep on the sofa or I’ll reserve another single’s room.”
“No. Stay here without doing those.”
“I’ll call the service then,” Aires glanced at Hale before leaving the stunned male who was looking at the bed.
He pushed the green button and spoke through the intercom, “Room 613, requesting for extra futon, blankets, and pillows.”
“I apologize, Lord Aires. Lord Kassean specifically ordered us not to heed requests for blankets.”
“…”
KASSEAAAAANN!!!
“Lord Aires, I’m terribly sorry. Please do forgive us, we’re only following the Lord’s orders.”
Aires’ breathed deeply to calm himself, “Fine.” With that, he cut off the intercom then contacted Kassean through his Holowrist.
“What in the actual fck, SEAN?!”
“Oh, hey! Do you like the room?” Kassean asked while he flipped a page in a bundle of stapled papers, reading it again.
“Do I look like I enjoyed it?” Aires’ malicious voice caught the whole attention of Kassean who was silently doing his Lordship works, his back shivered when he saw the look in Aires’ eyes.
“Uh… no… you look like you’re ready for murder…“
“Look… Hale is my childhood friend and we just met again in my 2nd year in the High Order. That’s why he’s so reserved to me. Got it? I can’t see him in another light other than being my best friend and he’s a male too.”
“Yes, I got it… but I can still ship you both secretly, right?”
“It’s not a secret now and no, you can’t.”
Kassean groaned and threw a tantrum, “No! Oh come on! You can’t do this to me, Seb… you know how I ship people randomly. You two are like some little ship at my sea. No biggie, right?! Just think of it as a little play.”
“No. Allow us to be provided with extra blankets or I’ll get it myself.”
Kassean went silent at the other line. He pursed his lips when he thought of the Sebastian that broke out of the dorm just to get something he was forbidden to get. It was a terrifying experience when you got to see it in the front row. “Uh… okay. I’ll send some in your room… but really? You two don’t sleep on the same bed? You can’t pass such an opportun-“
“Shut up and thanks.” “Hey!” Aires didn’t let Kassean bid him anything and just hung up. He ain’t getting anymore sht from that little guy.
