Chapter 30 – Shopping Trip (2)

They got out of the limousine and immediately were surrounded by the bodyguards they had brought along. With one look at them, anyone would think, ‘man these kids are rich-rich’. Though any person with bad intentions would not even be able to get close to them, they still attracted a bunch of attention to themselves, be it good or bad.

“Hey, it’s Shan Yijun, they’re here!” 

“Is that the little sister he keeps bragging about?”

“She’s pretty!”

“She’s so cute,” a little girl in pigtails squealed in delight, to her cuteness was everything, cuteness was justice!

Shan Yijun arrived in front of them with his hands in his pockets acting mature, beside him was Chen Daiyu, who had a lot of questions in mind but kept a polite expression. Neither submissive nor overbearing, her pursed lips made her look like she was puffing her cheeks.

The little girl in pigtails didn’t wait for Shan Yijun to speak when she pushed him aside and grabbed Chen Daiyu by the shoulders. Chen Daiyu looked at the girl whose eyes were full of anticipation and immediately liked this girl. 

“Hello I’m Xiao Li, nice to meet you!” Shan Yijun was surprised at how enthusiastic Xiao Li was being, he had never seen his good friend acting like that.

Shan Yijun snapped out of his trance “Xiao Li! Stop it, Yu Yu has never been in a noisy city! You might frighten her!”

Chen Daiyu was truly frightened. She never knew children could be this tall… although she spent a few months in the orphanage, she was still quite malnourished that caused her lack of height. Both Xiao Li and Shan Yijun were the same height and she needed to look up to properly see them. 

“What? Aw I’m sorry, I’m really sorry… WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING?!? GET AWAY!” Xiao Li suddenly shrieked. Children were truly attracted to cute and beautiful things, they had surrounded Chen Daiyu while Xiao Li and Shan Yijun we’re speaking.

“Wow, Shan Yijun, that’s your younger sister?”

“She’s so small and cute”

“Can I touch her hands?”

“Hmph, of course she is cute, this is my younger sister, but you can’t touch her hands.” Shan Yijun gloated, but he immediately started acting mature again and suppressed his smug smirk. On the other hand, Chen Daiyu was being protected by Xiao Li.

Even the children’s nannies tried to stop the children they were taking care of so that they wouldn’t sound rude in front of others.

There was a small crowd staring at them so Chen Daiyu led her ‘pack’ into the mall and started the real shopping.

Though she soon understood why people had so many regrets. She should’ve let the strangers stare at them for fun instead of going shopping.

She was being surrounded by girls that were much taller than her and constantly bugging her to change into various dresses.

More importantly, people were still staring at them, especially the women trying to see what the cute little girls were doing. They were actually playing dress up without anyone stopping them!

The scene was very amusing to any mothers or any to-be mother’s who wanted daughters that were passing by.

As for Shan Yijun, he was forced to separate from Chen Daiyu and led the boys to the boys section area where they choose clothes.

The boys would just casually take stuff they caught their eyes and look for their size before moving on. The most exciting thing they did was talk about Chen Daiyu…
