Xie Yunchu grabbed Sister Ke’s chubby hand and pointed in his direction, saying, “Look, that’s Dad.”

Sister Ke couldn’t speak yet. She was babbling towards Wang Shuhuai and making unclear sounds like, “Da..Da Da…”

“April 3rd.” Xie Yunchu invited with a smile, “Second Young Master, are you free that day?”

Wang Shuhuai seemed dissatisfied with her questioning. He raised his eyes and looked at her calmly, “The old man is both my father-in-law and my elder. How can I not go?”

Xie Yunchu’s father was the chief academic officer of the Imperial Academy and one of Wang Shuhuai’s mentors.

Wang Shuhuai attached great importance to rules and did everything he should do.

Xie Yunchu smiled without saying anything, then changed her mind and said, “By the way, about mother…” Xie Yunchu’s tone was hesitant.

Wang Shuhuai immediately understood, “Don’t worry, I will take care of it.”
