The plane began to descend.

Tang Yan put away the novel and woke up her cousin who was still dozing off.

Su Miaomiao stretched her waist and looked out the window. The fields were getting closer and the airport was just ahead.

“I don’t know if your little boyfriend has arrived,” Tang Yan joked with her.

“He is not my boyfriend. Cousin, don’t talk nonsense. He would be angry if he heard it.”

“He is coming to pick you up, and you still say that you are not in a relationship? Don’t worry, I will not tell others.”

People around her always misunderstood her relationship with Xie Jingyuan, Su Miaomiao couldn’t explain it clearly, so she simply shut up.

After getting off the plane, Su Miaomiao turned on her phone, and Xie Jingyuan’s text message popped up first, saying that he had arrived and was in the pick-up hall.

Su Miaomiao replied to the text message and went with her cousin to get the suitcase first.

She was not exaggerating at all. Her grandparents stuffed her suitcase so that there was no gap. It was very laborious to lift it off the turntable, and it was not easy to drag it.

Tang Yan took care of her cousin.

Coming to the exit, Su Miaomiao looked around and found Xie Jingyuan. He was wearing a black short sleeve, tall and thin.

“That’s Xie Jingyuan? No way, you didn’t even think about taking a few pictures of him and putting them in your phone?”

Tang Yan was deeply shocked by the appearance of her cousin’s legendary boyfriend.

Su Miaomiao shook her head, then waved to Xie Jingyuan.

Xie Jingyuan walked toward the end of the exit passage, the distance was close enough, Su Miaomiao took back her heavy suitcase from her cousin, and handed it to Xie Jingyuan naturally.

Xie Jingyuan took it silently.

“This is my cousin.”

Xie Jingyuan looked at Tang Yan.

Although Tang Yan was a sophomore, she was about the same height as Su Miaomiao, and she couldn’t picture her being a big sister in front of Xie Jingyuan who was at least 175 years old.

The main reason was with Xie Jingyuan’s otherworldly appearance and his aloof temperament, it was really difficult for ordinary people to be casual in front of him.

“Have you eaten yet?”

Xie Jingyuan looked at Su Miaomiao again.

“No, the food on the plane was not delicious. Grandma called me in advance and asked us to go to your house for lunch.”

Xie Jingyuan hummed, “Let’s go.”

He dragged Su Miaomiao’s suitcase and strode outside.

Tang Yan quietly asked her cousin, “When you two are alone together, is he so cold?”

Su Miaomiao: “Yes, he is more rude to me than to you.”

Tang Yan looked at her cousin who had a sweet appearance and a soft personality, and secretly made up a pair of classic love cp of “The Domineering School Girl Fell in Love with Me”.

It took an hour by taxi from the airport to the community.

During that hour, Su Miaomiao continued to sleep leaning against her cousin, while Xie Jingyuan sat in the passenger seat, without any intention of chatting.

The most enthusiastic one turned out to be the driver.

When they finally arrived at Wenxin Community, Xie Jingyuan dragged the suitcase downstairs, and showed Tang Yan his way of hospitality for the first time – he took her suitcase there, and then carried a suitcase in each hand, to climb up to the third floor.

Tang Yan began to envy her cousin, not to mention high school students, even male college students may not have Xie Jingyuan’s qualities.

Grandma Tao enthusiastically invited the two to 302.

Lunch was ready, so Su Miaomiao took her cousin to the bathroom to wash her hands, and Grandma Tao brought the last dish to the table.

Tang Yan was still a little restrained at the Xie House. When she returned to 301, Tang Yan immediately asked, “Miao Miao, is Xie Jingyuan a vegetarian?”

Su Miaomiao nodded.

“I admire him. I want to lose weight, but I can’t bear to only eat vegetables.”

“Why do you want to lose weight? Meat is delicious. There are also nutrients in meat that vegetables cannot provide to humans.”

Although Xie Jingyuan was only a vegetarian, he knew how to cultivate, and the aura he absorbed was more nourishing than any other nutrition. That was why he grew so tall without affecting his normal growth.

Tang Yan sighed, “You are still young, you don’t understand.”

Su Miaomiao thought of her grandma, and threatened her cousin, “You are not allowed to lose weight anyway, or I will tell grandma.”

In Su Miaomiao’s view, eating only vegetables was a form of torture, and she couldn’t watch her relatives suffer in vain.

Fortunately, Tang Yan was just talking casually. Tang Shiwei took them out for a meal at night, and Tang Yan ate better than Su Miaomiao.

The next morning, Tang Yan got on the bullet train to Beijing. She also left “Suppressing the Demons” to Su Miaomiao as promised.

Her parents were not at home, Su Miaomiao had nothing to do after taking a nap, and opened the novel.

The young Taoist master in the book worshiped the Zixia Temple, which was completely different from the Qingxu Temple that Su Miaomiao had been to.

However, the scriptures chanted by the Taoist masters at Zixia Temple, the teachings given by the old Taoist masters to the young Taoist masters, and even the mantras that the old Taoist masters recited when they were catching demons, were all similar to what she heard from Xie Jingyuan.

Su Miaomiao was so shocked, she didn’t even change her pajamas, she put on her slippers and grabbed a book and went to 302.

Grandma Tao came to open the door.

Su Miaomiao drilled in, “Grandma, where’s brother?”

“He’s in the study, you…”

Su Miaomiao had already run to the study.

Usually there were only Xie Jingyuan and Grandma Tao in the house, so Xie Jingyuan had not developed the habit of locking the door.

The door of the study was suddenly pushed open, Xie Jingyuan turned his head, saw Su Miaomiao, and silently closed the laptop screen with his slender hands.

“What’s the matter?” He asked indifferently.

Su Miaomiao held up the novel in her hand in front of him, “Master, take a look, the scriptures here…”

Xie Jingyuan glanced at Grandma Tao behind her, with the usual expression, “Is it difficult to understand?”

Su Miaomiao: “No, these scriptures are exactly the same as what you said!”

Xie Jingyuan: “Of course, I wrote the book.”

Su Miaomiao: …

Grandma Tao saw that her grandson was finally willing to tell his good friend the secret of his novel writing, and left with a smile.
