Reborn Lady - Chapter 61
“I am afraid that my second uncle and aunt will not agree,” Yin Hui also had concerns.
Yin Lang was a concubine born, and how much family business he could inherit in the future was entirely up to Yin Jingshan, and it was only natural for him to take care of his son. If Yin Lang got adopted to Yin Hui’s father, before her grandfather died, he would definitely share the family property with Yin Lang. At that time, Yin Jingshan would not be qualified to intervene in the affairs of the big house. He would have to compete with his nephew in the name of his uncle. If that went out, he might get a bad reputation.
If her grandfather proposed adoption, Yin Jingshan and Zhao Shi would definitely think that she was the one who convinced her grandfather, and then believe that she was going to use Yin Lang to compete with them for the family property.
Yin Hui did have selfish intentions, but she didn’t want to embezzle her natal family’s property money, but wanted to cultivate Yin Lang to continue the Yin family’s ancestral business.
The grandfather and granddaughter chatted for so long, and Yin Yong sighed repeatedly because of several bad things, but then showed a confident smile and looked at Yin Hui lovingly, “Don’t worry, Ah Hui, grandfather can still decide this matter. Your father is in the sky, so your second uncle has no face to refuse.”
“Thank you, it’s all because of me, who is married, but still bothers you,” Yin Hui said coquettishly.
Yin Yong jokingly said, “This shows that I am still useful. I am afraid that one day I will be useless and you will not come back.”
“When Xiao Heng becomes one year old, I will bring him back, and we mother and son will make trouble with you together.”
Yin Yong smiled, looking forward to seeing his great-grandson soon.
Before going to the hall for dinner, Yin Yong asked Yin Hui to keep that secret. He would wait until after the Chinese New Year to worship the ancestors to bring up the matter of adoption. He would say that he dreamed that the eldest son cried and complained that no one would inherit the incense, so he adopted Yin Langs. He wanted Yin Hui’s name not to appear in the matter. Even if the second son and daughter-in-law guessed the truth, as long as Yin Hui didn’t admit it, the couple would have nothing to do.
Yin Hui naturally cooperated with her grandfather.
When the family had dinner, Yin Hui still only talked with her grandfather, and did not pay attention to Yin Lang.
Mrs. Zhao was guilty and was afraid that she would talk to her. It was not until Yin Hui left that Mrs. Zhao was relieved.
When Yin Hui returned to the palace, Xiao Heng hadn’t taken a nap yet, and was having fun with Wei Luo on the warm couch.
Wei Luo hid the cloth tiger behind the pillow or under the quilt, and Xiao Heng smiled and crawled over, and then turned the cloth tiger out, with that little showy expression, as if he had done something very remarkable.
But Xiao Heng missed his mother even more. As soon as he saw Yin Hui, he abandoned the cloth tiger and crawled to the edge of the couch, calling “Ma Ma” vaguely.
Yin Hui picked up her fat son, and when she looked away, she saw Wei Luo silently sizing her up.
Yin Hui smiled brightly, “Since grandpa returned, I couldn’t resist staying with him for a longer time.”
Wei Luo was puzzled by her explanation, as he hadn’t blamed her for returning late.
“Xiao Heng, why aren’t you asleep?” Yin Hui lowered her head to tease her son.
Xiao Heng obediently lay on his mother’s shoulder. He was completely different from the lively boy who was crawling around just a while ago.
In fact, he was tired of playing and sleepy.
Yin Hui walked around three or four times in the second room, to let Xiao Heng fall asleep.
Wei Luo pushed open the curtain and signaled the wet nurse to come in with his eyes.
After the wet nurse took Xiao Heng away, Yin Hui couldn’t help but thump her right shoulder, and say to Wei Luo, “Xiao Heng is growing so fast, I can’t hold him anymore.”
Wei Luo looked at her and said, “Next time, just ask the wet nurse to come in and coax him to sleep.”
Yin Hui said unwillingly, “Xiao Heng misses me. I also want to hold him for a while longer.”
Wei Luo had nothing to say anymore.
The two entered the inner room.
Wei Luo washed his face after lunch, and sat on the bed first, watching her slowly wash her hands, wash her face and untangle her hair. The afternoon sun lit up half of the room, and the woman in a red satin jacket walked into the light for a short while. After a while, she returned to the dark place, adding agility and vitality to the quiet room.
Finally, she walked toward the bed, her long white hands wrapped around a lock of long hair on her chest.
“Why do you keep looking at me?” Yin Hui naturally noticed his gaze long ago.
Wei Luo embraced her tightly, resting his nose against the back of her neck, and asked, “Your period hasn’t started yet, has it?”
When Yin Hui heard that, she half teasingly said, “You remember it really accurately, it’s in a few days.”
Since that was the case, Wei Luo did not waste any more time.
Enthusiasm rose in the room, and Yin Hui had gained a lot from that trip. Knowing who Yin Rong was going to marry, and getting the approval of her grandfather for adopting Yin Lang, her mood relaxed and so did her body.
“Third Master, are you interested in my family’s affairs?” Yin Hui asked softly as they cuddled together afterward.
