Yin Hui’s thoughts began to go wild again. 

In a blind marriage, she could marry such a handsome husband, which was not considered a loss. As long as she wasn’t single-mindedly focussed on him, having a handsome husband to warm the bed from time to time was really good. Even if Wen Ruyue came in as a concubine in the future, so what? Could the concubine step on the main wife? Look at Xu Qingwan and Ji Xianxian. They were hurt when they were young, but after a long time, their minds developed. So looking at concubines was like looking at flowers and plants. 

Wei Luo finished wiping, put on his robe, and looked toward the bed, only to see Yin Hui staring at him intently. 

Obviously, she had been thinking about him very much. She closed her eyes when they were together, but was willing to watch then. 

“I’m going to see Xiao Heng, please clean up quickly.” 

After saying that, Wei Luo turned around and left.

Yin Hui came back to her senses, rubbed her sore waist, and stood up to tidy up. 

When she walked out of the main room, she saw Wei Luo sitting on a chair, holding Xiao Heng’s armpit with his hands. Xiao Heng stepped on his lap with both feet, jumping happily. 

There was a slight smile on the corner of Wei Luo’s lips. But when Yin Hui came out, the smile disappeared quickly. As if his smile was very valuable, and he wouldn’t smile unless others paid him money for it. 

Xiao Heng tilted his head to look at his mother, and continued to step on his father to play. 

The little guy was growing strong, Yin Hui and the wet nurse couldn’t afford to tease Xiao Heng like that for a long time. Finally, he got his strong father back. Of course, Xiao Heng had a good time, and there came a babbling sound, with some saliva from time to time. 

Wei Luo reacted quickly enough. Every time Xiao Heng drooled, he hid back. 

He loved to be clean so much that he even disliked his own son’s saliva. 

“Okay, it’s time for us to go,” Yin Hui sipped tea and reminded him. Her voice was soft but hoarse. Jinzhan and Yinzhan lowered their heads.

Yin Hui realized it and couldn’t help but glare at him. Her peach blossom eyes were wet, and her cheeks were dyed a thin red again, making her more charming. 

Wei Luo just said, “Let’s go.” 

The wind in the evening was already very cold, maybe it could blow away the charm on her face. 

Yin Hui added a cloak for herself, and followed closely beside Wei Luo. Seeing the wind blowing her son’s hood, she was just about to fix it for him, but Wei Luo did it first. 

When they arrived at the side hall of Qinzheng Hall, the three of them were the earliest among the juniors. 

The second master Wei Yan brought Erlang, and when he saw them, he teased Wei Luo, “Third brother, you must be tired from traveling. Why didn’t you take a rest? I thought I must be the earliest today.” 

Wei Luo got up to talk to him and Yui Hui just sat there and didn’t look over there.

Wei Yan glanced at her quietly, then was terrified by the look, and secretly warned himself that she was his sister-in-law. No matter how beautiful she was, he shouldn’t think about it. 

Gradually, all the people arrived, only Ji Xianxian was unable to come because of confinement. 

When the banquet started. The whole family ate and drank, and the atmosphere was harmonious. 

King Yan mentioned Wei Luo’s performance in the capital with a smile on his face, “The Emperor arranged for his grandsons to compete in riding and shooting. The third son won the first prize. The fourth and fifth son, you should practice martial arts diligently, and strive to match your third brother.” 

“The third brother is mighty!” The fourth master Wei Yan and the fifth master Wei Jing all praised and raised their glasses to toast Wei Luo. 

Wei Luo said, “It was just a fluke.” 

Mrs. Wen looked at her son proudly.

When they arrived at the east side, the masters and their ladies went back to their respective yards. When Yin Hui’s family returned to Chengxin Hall, Xiao Heng had already fallen asleep. 

Children were good and carefree. They ate and slept, and the day went by like that. 

Wei Luo asked Yin Hui to go to the backyard first, as he had something to do.

The implication was that although he would be late, he would definitely spend the night in the backyard that night. 

Yin Hui didn’t sleep long in the afternoon, and was sleepy and tired. So she went back to the room to bathe, and got into bed. 

A quarter of an hour later, Wei Luo came. Yin Hui looked over and saw a box in his hand. 

Seeing clearly, Yin Hui lay back on the pillow again, watched Wei Hao sit down by the bed, and put the box next to his pillow, in front of Yin Hui. 

Jinzhan came over with a copper basin and waited for Wei Luo to wash his feet. 

Wei Luo sat silently, and the soft light also softened his stern expression, which seemed to be a little more humane. 

Yin Hui looked at the box again. 

In her previous life, when Wei Hao came back from the capital, he did the same thing. He brought a box over and put it aside. She stood in front of the bed and watched him wash his feet. She didn’t dare to ask what was in the box, but Wei Luo handed it to her and said, “His Majesty rewarded you.”
