Queen of flowers - chapter 156

The first thing Yong Ruo did after she returned to Beijing was to send someone to the Prince’s Mansion and Princess Long Qing’s Mansion to thank her.

 Princess Long Qing quickly took her husband to visit Feng Liao.

Before Feng Liao came back, Yong Ruo accompanied the princess to chat. When An Zimo and Feng Liao entered the palace hall, Yong Ruo asked Jiao Tong to go to the front yard.

She said to Yong Ruo both enviously and admiringly, “You are amazing! You can ride a horse for a day for more than a hundred miles in one breath. I heard that many men can’t do it!”

Yong Ruo kept smiling, and said calmly, “The princess is really joking. If I were a worldly knowledgeable person, there would be no layman in this world.”

The two chatted for a while till Feng Liao returned from the palace, and walked in from the front yard with Princess Long Qing’s uncle Wei Zhaowu.

“Brother, you scared me!”

Upon seeing Feng Liao, Princess Long Qing rushed up, pulled his sleeve, and said with red eyes, “Yu Jing came to my house to ask for help. When I heard that you were sick, I was scared and cried. Gong Ye reported to father. Father was so scared that his face turned pale. He immediately sent Xu Taiyi to Jinfeng Town. He lost his temper in the palace and scolded Su Mingjian that they were useless!”

Feng Liao sighed with guilt, “It’s all my fault for making you and Uncle Emperor worry.”

Princess Long Qing pursed her lips and said aggrieved, “Later, I also wanted to go to Jinfeng Town to see you, but everyone stopped me and didn’t let me go. They told me I would mess up the situation! But why would I mess up the situation?”
