I cried as hard as I could in the rainy night, but no matter how hard I cried, the rain engulfed my wailing screams into silence, forcing reality to be stuck in front of my eyes as I only stared at the cold truth of his dead corpse remaining unmoved on the street. Even with so many people’s chatter surrounding me, all my ears could hear were the splatters of rain hitting the concrete road, hitting his body, hitting my already blurred eyes. None of these reached him as he laid dead in the center of it all.
No matter how hard I deny, imagining the possibility of a bad dream or perhaps a mere joke God might be playing just to scare me, I couldn’t let reality settle in. Yet, I know so, he is long gone, back to nature, where all life began, because I was crying.
My time with you was precious. I’ll forever remember you my love.
