“She is just using you. When you are no longer valuable, she will abandon you without hesitation.” Ghost Yu gritted her teeth in Yu Sheng’s ear. She used to respect her as an elder, and thought the woman was good to her because she really liked her and treated her as a daughter-in-law, but she didn’t expect the truth to be so cruel and hurtful.

“I am also using her,” Yu Sheng said nonchalantly. “Besides, why are you so naive? Between you and Wen Renyu, of course he is more important.”

“Originally, Madam Wen is a person who values interests. If Yang Sui can bring her the same benefits, then why would she go against her own son and alienate him?”

“Sheng Sheng, Xiao Yu will be here soon. I’ll take you over to meet him first,” Madam Wen spoke to Yu Sheng as gently as she did to Wen Renruo. In Madam Wen’s eyes, Wen Renruo was a scheming and despicable man who wanted to get close to the Yu family and snatch Wen Renyu’s marriage.

She never minded speculating on Wen Renruo’s thoughts with the greatest malice. She smiled, but her eyes were full of warning and disgust. However, Wen Renruo just smiled at them softly and said, “Aunt, Miss Yu, I’ll leave first.”

Wen Renruo was obviously used to being treated this way by Madam Wenren, but he was so calm, without any resentment or unwillingness, and his demeanor made it impossible not to like him. Yu Sheng took a deep look at Wen Renruo’s retreating figure, and then shifted her gaze before Madam Wen looked over.

Madam Wen took Yu Sheng to socialize as the future young lady of the Wen family and introduced her to other people. Yu Sheng was happy to see it happen and seized the opportunity. Madam Wen wanted to use this opportunity to announce the marriage between the Yu family and the Wen family, mainly to consolidate Wen Renyu’s position, so that some people would not have any ulterior motives and covet things that should not belong to them.

However, this benefited Yu Sheng and also successfully annoyed Wen Renyu and Yang Sui. 

“Why did you do that just now?” When Yu Sheng finished talking with Mrs. Wen and sat in a corner to rest, Ghost Yu questioned Yu Sheng aggressively.

Yu Sheng understood what she meant when she first came in. She had never been so affectionate to Wen Renyu before. “Look, isn’t this making Wen Renyu and Yang Sui very uncomfortable?” Yu Sheng took a sip of wine, narrowed her eyes and said lazily, “Why don’t you enjoy your fiancé now, and wait until later to give him to someone else?”

Yu Sheng’s words gradually calmed her down. She thought about it and felt that what she said made sense. She had been engaged to Wen Renyu for such a long time, and she had never touched him. In the future, Yang Sui would be the one who got it. She was unwilling to accept it.

Yu Sheng raised the corners of his lips slightly, and said in a gentle and persuasive manner, “So, if you don’t think you can’t get his heart, at least you have to get him as a person. In this way, your engagement won’t be too much of a loss for you.” 

She nodded. The more she thought about it, the more she felt that this was the truth. She was so stupid and so at a loss before.

“Are you going to drug Wei Renyun?” She suddenly became alert. This method was too despicable, and Miss Yu was a very proud and arrogant person so she disdained it. “Didn’t you say that you would not do anything illegal?”

Yu Sheng smiled and said, “You really think too much.” After she felt relieved, Yu Sheng added leisurely, “Drugging yourself certainly doesn’t count.” 

“What? You!” After hearing what Yu Sheng said, her voice was filled with horror.

She was so frightened that she couldn’t speak for a long time. She didn’t know how to dissuade her, but Yu Sheng had made up her mind. Moreover, she was no match for Yu Sheng in eloquence. She fell silent and watched Yu Sheng carry out that absurd plan.

“Hey, wait, aren’t you going to stop Wen Renyu?” She remembered something very important. Wen Renyu would publicly announce at this banquet that he wanted to break off the engagement with her and publicly express his love for Yang Sui.

“No,” Yu Sheng said in a relaxed tone.”What are you trying to stop? Only when you gain and then lose, does it feel better to fall from heaven to hell, doesn’t it?” For some reason, listening to Yu Sheng’s words, she felt a chill.

It was clearly her, but after the dream cycle every night, the person became unfathomable and she couldn’t understand it.

“Besides, how can things go on if it’s not like this? This engagement isn’t just Wen Renyu’s decision. Does he even have the right to cancel it as he pleases? It’s nothing but a joke in the eyes of others”

Yu Sheng was not worried about it at all, but she was not prepared to face the sympathetic, pitying and mocking eyes of others. So Yu Sheng made an excuse, saying that she was not feeling well and went back to her hotel room to rest.

Mrs. Wen felt a twinge of regret. She had hoped to announce the engagement of Yu Sheng and Wenren Yu publicly, but seeing Yu Sheng’s clear unhappiness, she couldn’t bring herself to push the matter. Seeing the time was right, Yu Sheng stood up, walked behind the door, and picked up a stick.

“I’m just saying, isn’t this too risky? What if something goes wrong?” 

“Do you think I would do something so uncertain?” Not long after, Yu Sheng’s door creaked open, and a man stepped in cautiously. Then, before he could react, he was knocked unconscious. 

Yu Sheng shook her head and stumbled out. “Hey, are you okay?” Seeing Yu Sheng’s face getting redder and her body getting hotter, Ghost Yu was extremely worried.

“Oh no, the drug has taken effect early.” Yu Sheng was a little confused due to the fever. “You are really crazy,” Ghost Yu said angrily. She had never seen a woman who dared to gamble like this.

Yu Sheng remembered Wen Renyu’s room number, and she groped over to open the door with a blurry vision. She breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that things would not go wrong. However, when she saw the man lying on the big bed, her heart was in her throat.
