Ghost Yu had never been a mother before, but now she looked more qualified than Yu Sheng.

“Hey, there are two men outside. What are you going to do?”

Just asking such a question made Ghost Yu extremely ashamed. But Yu Sheng didn’t feel anything at all, and said calmly, “What would I do? Why are you panicking?”

Ghost Yu really admired Yu Sheng for not panicking even in such a situation.

After Yu Sheng finished the examination, she came out. However, looking at the two men waiting for her, she was very calm. She smiled softly at Wen Renyu and said, “Sorry, I’m a little hungry.”

Wen Renyu immediately understood. “I’ll go buy you some food, you wait here for me.” Then he looked at Wen Renruo and asked, “Brother Ruo, please help me take care of her.”

Wen Renyu thought that pregnant women were prone to hunger, and he didn’t want to keep Yu Sheng waiting, so he left quickly. He didn’t expect that Yu Sheng deliberately sent him away, and after he left, they fell silent.

If Wen Renruo knew that Yu Sheng had something to say to him, he would also have liked to have a good talk with her. Yu Sheng took a few steps outside and wanted to go to the window, but she didn’t stand firmly and sprained her ankle.

Seeing that, Wen Renruo hurried over and supported her. His heart almost jumped out of his chest when he saw Yu Sheng’s unstable body. “Be careful.”

Wen Renruo did not let go of her immediately. He would never have done so in the past. But the scene really made him very worried about her, fearing that she would have another problem.

Only after Yu Sheng stood firm and looked at him doubtfully did Wen Renruo let her go.

“Thank you,” Yu Sheng said to Wen Renruo naturally.

That kind of mentality was indeed admirable. At least Wen Renruo himself couldn’t do it.

Wen Renruo pursed his lips, and finally, he couldn’t help but say, “This child is mine.”

Wen Renruo used an affirmative sentence, so Yu Sheng didn’t beat around the bush and admitted it openly.

“So what?” Her tone and expression were very relaxed, and she obviously didn’t think it was a big deal.

Wen Renruo had known that she would behave like this, but he still insisted, “I want to tell Brother Renyu the truth.”

Yu Sheng sneered at Wen Renruo’s words. She turned around, looked at him, and said, “The truth? What is the truth? What I tell you is the truth.”

“You are a smart man. You must know what the smart thing to do is.” Yu Sheng approached Wen Renruo, staring into his eyes.

“But I also want to try a less clever approach for once.” Wen Renruo stared at Yu Sheng.

Yu Sheng’s expression turned stern, and she looked at Wen Renruo with a bad look in her eyes, but he was unmoved.

“Then you should know that this is not a good thing for everyone,” Yu Sheng said coldly.

“At least, I can live up to my conscience.” Wen Renruo still looked as gentle as jade and calm as ever, which made Yu Sheng a little angry.

“Haha, conscience? Are you going to put everyone in this embarrassing situation just for your so-called conscience? Wouldn’t it be nice for everyone to be happy?” Yu Sheng was used to turning the tables and confusing right and wrong.

“Your so-called happy ending is probably different from what I understand,” Wen Renruo did not get angry and still answered Yu Sheng calmly.

“Whatever you say, but you have to know that if this child does not have the value he deserves, there is no need for him to exist.” Yu Sheng turned around and snorted.

She walked a few steps forward to the window and met the eyes of Wen Renyu, who was helping her buy things below. Wen Renyu smiled brightly at her, and Yu Sheng subconsciously returned a gentle smile to him, unable to tell at all how cold and ruthless her words were.

Her words really angered the usually calm Wen Renruo, and he clenched his fists tightly. Looking at Yu Sheng’s resolute and indifferent back, Wen Renruo finally endured it, but he couldn’t help reaching out to grab Yu Sheng’s arm and held it tightly.

Wen Renruo exerted force with his hands, turned Yu Sheng’s body over, pulled her into his arms, and hugged her tightly. Yu Sheng was surprised to see such a strong side of Wen Renruo.

Wen Renruo held Yu Sheng’s waist steadily, and his usually cold eyes also showed fire.

“Are you threatening me?” Wen Renruo asked in disbelief. He seemed to have never thought that a woman could be so cruel. Yu Sheng’s nonchalant look, as if she were talking about an object, really irritated him deeply.

“Why, are you happy to have an illegitimate child?” Yu Sheng was not flustered at all and asked Wen Renruo coldly.

“I won’t let a woman have an abortion because of me,” Wen Renruo answered very confidently.

He was not a person who had casual relationships. If it really happened to that extent, he would definitely take responsibility. Even if Yu Sheng had an accident, he still believed that he was mostly responsible.

Yu Sheng couldn’t help but be stunned by Wen Renruo’s words. He was the easiest and hardest man to approach. His gentleness and sincerity were real, but to enter his heart was as difficult as ascending to heaven.

But in reality, Wen Renruo was probably the softest man. He revealed his most vulnerable side to the people he cared about, allowing them to take whatever they want and hurt him at will. Wasn’t that the case with what Wen Renyu did to Wen Renruo?

Even if it wasn’t because of her, Wen Renyu and Wen Renruo’s relationship would break sooner or later. Yu Sheng had no guilt.

Wen Renyu would have to choose between his parents and his cousin sooner or later. Of course, it was normal for him to choose his parents, and no one could say anything about it.

However, after Wen Renyu chose one side, he was too ruthless to the other side and tricked Wen Renruo several times.

“I only give you two choices. One, shut up and say nothing. It’s good for you, me, and everyone else. Second, tell Wen Renyu the truth—the child no longer exists. There is no third possibility,” Yu Sheng said to Wen Renruo aggressively.

Wen Renruo’s eyes inevitably showed pain and struggle. No matter which possibility it was, it was a huge torment for him.

However, whether to keep the child or not was indeed in Yu Sheng’s hands. How terrible it was for a woman to threaten the life of her own child. Perhaps, Yu Sheng did not like the child from the beginning. After all, it was not born from love between her beloved man and her. It was just an accident.

However, if this child was born, how sad would it be when it found out later?

If it came to ruthlessness, Yu Sheng felt that even Wen Renruo, after distancing from Wen Renyu, couldn’t compare to her.

Ghost Yu’s focus was on Wen Renyu and Yang Sui, and she knew very little about other people. Wen Renruo was obviously an important character in the novel, but she completely ignored him.

Wen Renruo’s fists were bulging with veins, but he was never one to take his anger out on others. Sometimes, being well-educated makes people tend to feel aggrieved.

Wen Renruo’s face got very ugly. It was the first time that Yu Sheng had seen him so emotional since she met him.

“Okay, I’ll choose one,” Wen Renruo said to Yu Sheng through gritted teeth. That made Yu Sheng smile, and she said happily, “I told you before, you are a smart person.”

That must be said to be a kind of irony for Wen Renruo. He let go of Yu Sheng and turned away, not wanting to see her for the time being. However, hearing Yu Sheng chuckle, he still found her quite cute even though he was upset.

Now that Yu Sheng was in a better mood, she was willing to understand Wen Renruo’s miserable mood. She stopped provoking him, considerately left her private space, and turned away.

“Why did you come down?” Wen Renyu met her on the way and asked worriedly.

“Brother Ruo has something else to do, I don’t want to bother him.” Wen Renyu didn’t doubt her. He put the straw into the milk and handed it to Yu Sheng.

Ghost Yu, who was watching from the side, gasped in amazement. How could Wen Renyu be so considerate to her? He often left her alone or ignored her. He didn’t have the slightest gentlemanly manners.
