Fake villain turned into cannon fodder - chapter 87
Sheng Boyan frowned and refused.
His refusal made Sheng Xuerou even more angry. In her eyes, this was his biasedness.
Sheng Boyan just wanted to isolate her from An Ran so she didn’t think so much.
“You are still partial to An Ran, I am obviously your daughter … Didn’t you not want to take me back or do you want An Ran to be your own daughter …”
Sheng Xuerou cried out in tears. She looked like she had unspeakable grievances.
“Rourou, don’t cry, Mom and Dad are not biased. We wanted you back. You are our daughter, how could Mom and Dad not want you?”
The soft-hearted Su Yunya calmly embraced Sheng Xuerou in her arms and appeased her.
“But … why do you always stand on An Ran’s side… I just want to participate in “Chinese Good Poetry”, can’t I get such a simple wish?”
Sheng Xuerou thought of how her loved ones were in her dreams. They had sent her out of the country for An Ran’s sake. She was muddled and miserably dead abroad. In the end, they never let her return to her country to see her loved ones …
There was a fire in her heart that could not be extinguished. She couldn’t calm down or live a comfortable life with this fire.
She knew that only by putting An Ran, who had occupied her sixteen years of identity, under her feet, would the fire in her heart be extinguished. Only if she let her taste the pain she suffered in her dream would she feel comfortable or she would be tortured for a lifetime …
“Rourou, you really don’t need to compete with Ranran. You are you, Ranran is Ranran. You two are separate individuals, different people. Mom, Mom really loves you …”
Su Yunya felt sorrow in her heart for a moment. She thought of Ranran and Rourou. She wished that both daughters were her biological daughters, and their family had never had that accident. …
“When did I say that I want to compete with An Ran in “China Good Poetry”? I just want to participate in this show …”
His daughter was still entangled with the issue, Sheng Boyan sighed.
He found that he was wrong.
He shouldn’t let her feel that he would let her do everything she wanted. He just needed to give her two hundred percent of love and take care of her.
“Rourou, give up on this show. Your mother and I will never agree with you participating in this show with Ranran. This is good for you and Ranran. So, go back.”
Sheng Boyan looked at Sheng Xuerou helplessly, but his tone was particularly firm.
He was stubborn and would not let Sheng Xuerou go. No matter how much she cried or how much trouble she made it was useless.
After getting this answer, Sheng Xuerou left the room in anger and distress.
When she left, Sheng Boyan told Su Yunya, “Wife, I feel Rourou’s condition is getting worse. I think we should hire a psychologist for her …”
Su Yunya’s eyes widened in shock.
“Is it so serious?”
“Um … I think we could not deal with it by ourselves. We can only ask a doctor to see her.”
“But Rourou… I’m afraid she won’t agree to see a psychologist …”
“Don’t let her know, we can make a separate screenplay for her and pretend to let her act as a mentally ill patient who went to see a psychologist …”
Sheng Xuerou didn’t know that her biological parents were spending huge sums of money and spending countless manpower for her, just to treat her.
She was thinking that her parents loved An Ran more as her dream and they were more partial to her. She should not expect anything from her biological parents!
If An Ran could know what Sheng Xuerou was thinking about, she would be absolutely shocked… Sheng Xuerou was clearly the female lead but her behavior and thoughts at this time really resembled the villain Sheng Anran in the novel!
She was simply a copy of the female villain, Sheng Anran.
An Ran didn’t know Sheng Xuerou’s thoughts or what she had done.
Sheng Xuerou relied on her dreams and subconsciously imitated Sheng Anran in her dreams. She clearly hated her, but in a sense, she was … envious of her.

Thanks for chap
Uwaah her family got enough brains to realize they aren’t equipped to deal with this. I just hope they’d have done this sooner

Yes please get her professional help. Her obsession with putting Anran beneath her is super unhealthy. Even if it wasn’t about a dream and Anran had actually harmed her it’d be bad but since she never did it’s even worse. Xuerou is basically living in her dream completely ignoring reality.

The thing that really sticks out to me is that I would be sympathetic to being forcibly separated from her loved ones… except that she doesn’t actually appear to love anyone. Like, remember that the story made it a point that An Ran regularly talked to her previous family until they decided that they had to cut her off for Xuerou’s sake, but Xuerou completely tossed out her old family as soon as she left them- they say that she never once called them until only doing so to secretly delight in An Ran’s misery.
But she’s also clearly not making any effort to try to learn to love her new family, just using them as a means to an end while paranoidly assuming the worst about them at every turn.
She’s obsessed with the idea of the original ML but only because he’s another thing An Ran supposedly stole from her (even though from the little bit we’ve heard thus far their engagement wasn’t something arranged by their families where it even would have ever been hers if they hadn’t swapped, it sounds like it was a legitimate love match before An Ran remembered the playboy getting the system turned him into and soured on him).
I’d say that she doesn’t love anyone but herself, except she doesn’t even have that!
So exactly what loved ones were you supposedly cruelly separated from, girly? (Honestly, with what we’ve learned about her personality, how the family tries to deal with her issues, and considering that An Ran was very likely already dead at the point she’s thinking, of I wouldn’t be at all surprised if what she thinks of as having been banished for being the unwanted daughter was actually them knowing that she’d get resentful watching them mourning their ‘fake’ daughter and trying to send her somewhere she could have a nice time and not need to see their grief.)

Ahh, oops, sorry! I didn’t mean that to be a reply to you!

Ah….. The last line completely changed everything. I feel kinda sad for her now. She is just pushing herself to death.

Everyone is making sense— heck! even An Ran’s biological family has more brain than Xuerou! She really has serious problems in the head. I pity Mr. and Mrs. Sheng

This girl is so twisted

At least her biological parents are trying their best to help her.
Thanks for the update!
