The neck was pale and slender, and the overbearing red blade in Chu Qianxun’s hand could easily cut it with just a slight effort.

Chu Qianxun’s hand had once beheaded an unknown number of human heads, and the head of the person who had just been killed under her blade was still rolling at her feet.

The girl lying on the ground was motionless. She was staring blankly ahead, as she had no sense of resistance at all. The white bandage wrapped around her body had been stained scarlet by the blood flowing out.

She may be “Bloody Mary” who would kill people in the future. There was no need to be soft-hearted.

Chu Qianxun clenched the handle of the blade.

“Qianxun,” Ye Peitian called her and shook his head gently to express his opinion.

Chu Qianxun glanced at him. The man with clear eyes and a soft heart was once called a “half demon”.

“No, don’t kill Sister Xiaoyue,” a few noisy childish voices came.

A dozen dirty children, led by Qi Yongchun and Gao Yan, appeared at the door of the house.

The children were only six or seven years old, and the older ones were only eleven or twelve. They were all within the first-order. All of them were wounded, with panic in their eyes, and they shrunk outside the door timidly, staring at Chu Qian who was holding the blade.

A muddy young boy slammed into Chu Qianxun like a cannonball. He was obviously a first-order speed ability holder, and his speed was much faster than ordinary people, but it was not enough to fight Chu Qianxun. She stretched out her hand and grabbed his hair, and threw the boy who was desperately punching and kicking her.

Qi Yongchun’s vines emerged from the corner of the wall and entangled the boy who wanted to get up.

“Don’t make trouble, this sister is here to rescue you. She killed all the bad people.”

These children were locked in a dark room. When he brought them out, he felt that he had an obligation to look after them.

“Qianxun, these children were all caught here, and were forced to take the crystal core to be trained as assassins. They have been tortured to death a lot,” Qi Yongchun felt a little embarrassed. His eyes fell on the young assassin, remembering the flying dagger that flew past his neck but did not hurt him, he continued, “This child is also a victim.”

“Don’t bully Sister Xiaoyue, Sister Xiaoyue is very good. When Grandpa beats us, she always protects us,” a little girl hid in the door, stretched out her head, crying and blowing bubbles from her nose.

“Yes, don’t bully Sister Xiaoyue.”

“She’s bullying Sister Xiaoyue, so she is as bad as Grandpa.”

“Please, don’t bully Sister Xiaoyue. Woo.”

The little kids gathered up the courage to talk.

No matter how young the person was, Chu Qianxun could beat the brat who rushed over fiercely like that. But she couldn’t handle the kind of soft and cute girl who had bubbles from her nose while crying.

“Don’t, don’t make me see…” The girl under the blade opened her mouth vaguely, and under her messy hair, tears kept running down the bridge of her nose to the ground. It seemed that she was still trapped in the illusion given by Zhu Xueyi and couldn’t escape.

Chu Qianxun pulled out a steel wire and tied the young assassin’s hands together. A warm yellow light glowed from her hands, covering the tearful head, as the prayer ability gave calm and emotional effect.

Chu Qianxun realized that her five senses spread out from the body along with the warm yellow light in her hands. In her perception, small light spots appeared not far away, and the light spots were trembling slightly and were being covered with pitch black luster which slowly erosived.

When the gentle yellow light in her hand enveloped it, Chu Qianxun felt a strong sense of fear conveyed from the light spots.

The child was being forcibly detained and repeatedly tortured in a situation that scared her extremely.

Chu Qianxun looked at the soft yellow light in her hand, wrapped the small light ball under her control and dispelled the black which was “fear” little by little.

😌 The children are still salvageable. I’m so glad. After some re-education, I hope they they would have the right outlook but strong enough to survive their current world.
