Fu Jianjun spoke a little tiredly, “Why do I want to tolerate him? Just look at these ability holders from outside. Their fighting awareness is far better than those in our base. As far as I know, in those small bases, the number of high-end combatants is more than us. Our Ludao seems to be comfortable, but we are tired of this ease. It is already at a precarious time. If at this time, we will consume more internally…”

Fu Jianjun waved his hand, his always tall and straight body showed a trace of fatigue.

Zuo Liangcai turned his face and looked bitterly at the building not far from the windows.

In that building, Cai Jiaquan, the second in command of the base, was having a similar conversation with his son.

“What kind of mercenary group is this? It’s messy,” Cai Jiaquan flipped through a piece of information similar to Fu Jianjun. He didn’t have the tough posture of Fu Jianjun or the majesty of a superior.

“As a combat team, there are ability holders who have basically no combat ability. The commander is said to be an auxiliary ability holder with an unknown level? There is a third-order earth ability holder, but what is the use of the earth ability holder? Build the base faster? This plant ability holder is second-order, but has no ability to attack. The report says that he walked around in the agricultural lands every day. There is also a healer. What is the ability of this old woman? Control the weather?” Cai Jiaquan put down the report, and looked at his son Cai Dehai,

“Except for this gun ability holder, I don’t see why you are so nervous about them. They may be able to help us in the future base construction, but for what we are currently doing, they are not of great use value. Proper contact is good.”

“But father, that woman is not easy to deal with. She stopped Jiaoyan with a single move, and I couldn’t even see her movements. She got the crystal core of that operation, even Fu Guoxu…” Cai Dehai said.

His father interrupted him, “Okay, the fight between women is not worth your fuss. I think you should focus on Meng Rongxuan and let him lean toward us as soon as possible, instead of always thinking about remaining neutral. “

After Cai Dehai retreated, a figure appeared silently in the shadow of the corner.

He adjusted the entire document and handed it to the person, “The information of the person you are looking for is here. Don’t forget the deal we have agreed upon.”

The person accepted the information, nodded, and disappeared into the dark again silently.

When Zhong Hongfei woke up, he found himself in a spacious and clean room. The quiet bushes outside the window were blooming leisurely under the sun.

He was still alive, his teammates brought him back and dealt with his injuries.

He barely sat up.

Those hideous demons, disgusting mucus, and bloody battle scenes flashed uncontrollably in his mind. He bent down and wanted to vomit, but in the end he clenched his teeth tightly and controlled the tumbling in his stomach.

In any case, he must get used to it. He stood up against the wall, walked to the door little by little, and opened it.

It was the second floor of the villa. A figure was sitting on the handrail of the stairs, slowly wiping the gun in her hand. Seeing him coming out, she slightly raised her face and glanced at him without speaking.

His appearance must be ridiculously weak in her eyes. Zhong Hongfei was embarrassed. He retracted his hand on the wall and nodded politely to Yan Xue. He slowly controlled his pace, wanting to walk past her.

“Where are you going so eagerly?” A faint female voice came from behind.

“My sister is at home alone. She will worry. I want to go back and have a look first,” Zhong Hongfei turned and replied. No matter how cold Yan Xue looked, he still thanked her for caring about him.

The less-spoken gunman looked at him in silence for a moment, then turned up the stairs and jumped downstairs, “Just rest, I’ll pick her up for you.”

The figure left these words, and quickly disappeared at the gate. Zhong Hongfei looked down, reached out his hand to support the railing of the stairs, the remaining body temperature of the woman came from the railing.

His body was very weak and his whole body hurt, but his heart was warmed by the little temperature in his hands.

He thanked God for sending such kindness to him one after another when he was on the brink of desperation.

Zhong Hongfei retracted his hand and clenched it into a ball.

He couldn’t be a burden forever. He wanted to get stronger as soon as possible, stand beside them, and become their true teammates.

When Chu Qianxun set out again, she watched with some surprise as Zhong Hongfei, who was covered in bandages, stood in front of her with his bag on his back.

“Are you coming?” She looked at Zhong Hongfei from head to toe.

“Yeah. I’m much better already,” Zhong Hongfei said with a smile. He smiled very gently, with a natural comfort that was not easy to be rejected, “Let me come, I just want to participate in more battles.”

Chu Qianxun nodded. She turned to her cousin Xu Xiangyang and said, “Brother Xiangyang, you need to take care of Hongfei. We may go out for many days.”

“Qianxun, I also want to go with you,” Xu Xiangyang was afraid that Chu Qianxun would be unhappy, so he hurriedly said, “Look, I’m also your brother, you work hard every day, I think I am too lazy like this.”

Chu Qianxun had no objection. She thought for a while, took off the symbol on her arm, and put it on Xu Xiangyang’s arm.

“Wear it,” she said.

A group of people walked to the dock.

The crowds along the way subconsciously gave way to this well-equipped team.

“Have you seen them, they are from Heart of Winter.”

“These people are from Heart of Winter?”

“It’s them. After going out, they brought back a huge pile of demons’ bodies that didn’t fit the ship.”

Whispers sounded around.

An acquaintance saw Xu Xiangyang in the team and stretched out his hand to greet him, “Xiangyang, it’s amazing that you got into Heart of Winter.”

Xu Xiangyang unconsciously raised his head and straightened his chest.

Yeah, he should have done this long ago, he thought as he walked. He should not let Xunxun work hard outside alone. He didn’t look like an older brother anymore. He would come out with Xunxun in the future.

these Cai and gang are so selfish indeed. why fight humans , no wonder demons rise very well since a lit of human wants to kill human. Whereas Demons , they rather use the lower demons to achieve their goal.
