“Okay, okay, so you’re clean. It’s so cold and you were covered in mud again.”

The coaxed little wolf squatted aggrievedly in the hot water basin, tightened his limbs, and flicked his tail unhappily. Yuan Xiang took a wooden spoon and poured hot water down his neck little by little and washed him cleanly. This time it didn’t mess up.

The little wolf that was washed and dried had slender and soft silver hair, glowing with a moon-like color. Outside the house was the falling winter rain. In the warm room, Yuan Xiang combed Nan He with the newly purchased hair.

After he leaves, she may find a bunny spirit that she often talked about or other fluffy ones as her apostle. Nan He thought frustratedly, she would treat the kind of well-behaved rabbit patiently, touch its ears and neck, make fragrant food for it, use that comb to brush his hair, then would think that the rabbit was better than that wolf and finally forget quickly.

The rain outside the window gradually stopped and moonlight came in, sprinkled on the floor of the house, the stars shifted, the jade rabbit (moon) sank to the west and the sun rose. The sunrays hit Yuan Xiang’s cheek through the paper window.

Yuan Xiang rubbed her eyes, woke up, and saw a very beautiful large wolf-dog in the house. Although he may not be fully grown up, his body was smooth and beautiful. His limbs contained strength and the silvery-white hair was dark. A pair of amber eyes stared at him for a moment.

“Nan…Nan He, Xia Nan?”

“I’m leaving,” the wolf made a sound exactly like Xiao Nan He.

The silver-white Sirius closed his mouth and lowered his eyes.

“No, Xia Nan, you…” Yuan Xiang got down from the kang and squatted in front of Nan He. After hesitating, she said something that she had said in her heart many times, “I have always wanted to tell you, can you stay by my side? To be my apostle?”

Nan He stepped back silently.
