Demon King's Repayment - chapter 29
It felt so nostalgic for him. Nan He was vaguely disturbed in his sleep. He had lost such days for many years.
He was the only Sirius in the world, walking alone in the dim forest for hundreds of years. On rainy nights, he would curl up alone in the cold and wet rock cave to guard himself from the chasing enemy.
Why was it so comfortable and warm?
Although he noticed something wrong in the dream, he was reluctant to wake up. He raised his neck in the dream, where his skin piled up and the hair dense, and felt uncomfortable. Sure enough, the thoughtful fingers scratched under his neck, as if with magical powers, comfortably making him want to moan a few times.Â
Nan He opened his eyes!
It was raining in winter outside the house. He wasn’t in the forest but still in the human house, lying on the lap of the lady sitting cross-legged. The woman was making tea as she gently scratched his neck with her fingers. And he just had a terrible idea in his dream, wanting to turn his most vulnerable belly out to let her touch it.
Yuan Xiang reached out and placed a cup of brewed tea in front of the snake demon sitting on the ground.
A four-pillar heavenly array was drawn on the ground where the snake demon was sitting to restrict her movements. She had already transformed back into a human form, sitting uprightly and quietly in the center of the array that imprisoned herself.
She reached out to receive the tea cup that Yuan Xiang handed over, made finger gestures to the edge of the cup with two fingers on her right hand, held the bottom of the cup lightly with one finger, then covered her face by raising the sleeve with her left hand. When she put the tea cup down, she stretched out two green fingers on the ground beside the tea cup to show gratitude.
She no longer looked savage and crazy, but as cold and beautiful when Yuan Xiang first saw her. Her set of standard tea tasting moves were more human than Yuan Xiang.
“I’m sorry for what happened just now, my name is Hui Teng, you can just call me Hui Teng.” She introduced herself politely.
Most of the demons in the world have a strong heart. No matter how big or small, as long as one completely beat them, they would basically treat them with respect and admiration.
“So, what hatred do you have with my Shifu?” Yuan Xiang asked curiously. She really knew too little about Shifu Yu Yao. It was rare to talk about Shifu’s past. Although Hui Teng was an enemy, Yuan Xiang still wanted to learn a little more about him.
“Fifty years ago, I made a little mistake. Shifu taught me a lesson. He sealed me in a jar and pressed it under a pavilion in the barren mountain.” The snake demon recalled the aftermath of sealing her exuding dissatisfaction, even with a little respect and yearning.
“He promised me that after fifty years, he would lift my ban and fulfill my wish. I kept the agreement with him and waited until fifty years had passed, but Sir never came.” She had an indignant look on her face.
Several electric currents flashed through the phantom of the four-pillar heavenly array, reminding her not to move rashly.
“How many years ago are you talking about?” Yuan Xiang asked.
“Exactly fifty years ago. The old plum trees by the pavilion had blossomed fifty times. I was so bored that I counted them year after year.”
“Shifu promised to let you out after fifty years. Now, it’s been exactly fifty years. Haven’t you already come out?” Yuan Xiang said.
“But, he said that he would release my ban in 50 years. In order to keep the contract, I have been waiting for him to release the ban himself.”
“Shifu said that he will let you out in fifty years. As long as you come out, no matter if he comes or not, it shouldn’t be considered a breach of contract.” Yuan Xiang followed the main logic of the dead-headed demon, “Maybe with his magic power, the talisman he posted at the beginning had only been useful for 50 years?”
Xiao Di tilted her head, as if thinking about what Yuan Xiang said.
They were talking. Xiao Nan He who was sleeping on her knees softly and letting her brush his hair woke up. Maybe he was frightened because he suddenly jumped from Yuan Xiang’s lap with a flustered expression. After looking at Yuan Xiang for a moment, he trotted to the corner by the window and squatted. His ears were folded down and he had a very obvious pink color.
Yuan Xiang was a professional in hairbrushing for many years and she thought she had developed a superb technique. No matter how arrogant and fluffy it was, as long as it spent five minutes under her hand, they would start to hum obediently.Â
She looked at the tsundere prince who was only willing to use his tail at her in the corner and her heart was full of frustration.
She wanted to grab him, press him on the ground, and rub him recklessly.
When would he be able to lie down obediently and let her brush a handful of silver-white plush? Yuan Xiang’s teeth tickled with hatred.
Miao:
Hui Teng means snake
