The child slept until twilight and did not wake up.
Gu Yin thought of the doctor’s order to feed him less but more frequently. She dressed him up and carried him to the main room.
The evening meal was vegetable porridge cooked by Gu Yin and some meat left at noon to heat up.
Since he was in poor health, he could no longer eat meat, so Gu Yin only fed him porridge.
The child sniffed the aroma of the meat and pointed at the meat with fascinated eyes.

He didn’t lie very much in the first place, and when he spoke hesitantly, it was obvious that he had something on his mind.
Gu Yin simply said, “Let me guess, there is a child in the family and you are upset?”

“Good boy,” Gu Yin saw that he was asleep, tucked him and the child into a quilt, and also laid down.
