Yu Li’s eyes moved.

He tried his best to keep himself in check so that the withdrawal of his hand didn’t look too impatient.

He thought for a moment, leaned over and kissed her earlobe comfortably.

“It’s okay. It’s my fault. I forgot that you have a cold and haven’t recovered yet.”

Wen Long asked him hesitantly, “Then are you… fine?”

Yu Li thoughtfully said, “You’re not in good health, so I can bear it.”

“I don’t need much, once a month or two is enough,” he touched her hair, while his tone sounded soft.

If it were someone else, she would definitely be moved by his thoughtfulness.

But Wen Long knew that the villain was a bit of a clean freak and didn’t want to do it at all.

She breathed a sigh of relief.

It was what she wanted.

Wen Long’s cold lasted for almost a month.

Because of that, the box of ultra-thin durex that hadn’t been opened lay quietly in the bedside cabinet for almost a month, and no one cared about it.

It was a little strange that the cold hadn’t recovered for so long, but the two of them tacitly didn’t mention it.

In the empty living room, the TV screen was on, but there was no sound.

Yu Li didn’t speak, poured himself a glass of water, then sat on the sofa and lost his mind.

Wen Long had classes that day, and had to prepare for graduation and other trivial matters. So she wouldn’t be back until noon.

So, he just needed to pick her up after lunch.

Yu Li got up and looked around.

The things in the living room were almost the same as they were more than a month ago.

Living with her seemed to be a little better than he had expected.

She was very quiet and didn’t touch his things.

He just glanced at the bedside table, and the medicine box inside was still in a neat square.

Moreover, she was quite self-conscious. When she was sleeping at night recently, she would go out of the bedroom by herself when she coughed, and she would drink hot water to solve it by herself without disturbing him.

Moreover, she was good at cooking.

He froze for a moment, then remembered her natural phrase, “Because I love you.”

He didn’t know how she knew what he liked, but the dishes she cooked were indeed to his taste.

Yu Li stood where he was, and thought about it for a long time, but he couldn’t find anything wrong with her.

Except that she was always coughing, making the car and the house full of germs…

But he had already been prepared for it, so he didn’t find it very difficult to accept for a while.

He sat on the sofa and stared blankly for a while.

If the next five years could be spent like that, it wouldn’t seem to be very difficult.

He narrowed his eyes in satisfaction.

It seemed that the decision he made impulsively three months ago was correct.

Suddenly, his eyes fell somewhere, and he paused slightly.

In the glass cabinet, among the neatly arranged white cups, there was an extra mug with a printed pattern.

The cup was given as a gift when they went to the supermarket to buy something the day before. Because he didn’t want to put that cheap cup that didn’t fit in with the surroundings in his cabinet, he temporarily put it in the corner and planned to throw it away later.

But now, it suddenly appeared in his cabinet…

It was impossible for him to place that kind of thing in his house, so it was needless to guess who did it.

He remembered that Wen Long seemed to like that cup quite a bit when they were in the supermarket, saying it looked good several times.

Yu Li didn’t understand why she liked such flashy things.

Besides that, there were many things.

He thought of the strange things she brought home recently.

Since she moved in with him, his things would change a little every day. On the first day, it was two bags of tea bags that were

swapped. On the second day, he found a piece of colored letter paper in his white letter pad.

The placement of his things was very clear, and it was easy to detect that something was wrong.

Of course he knew who did these things.

But looking at her innocent and quiet appearance, he couldn’t ask aloud. He could only endure the anger in his heart and put things back where they were.

But after a month, he understood that the sick woman who lived with him did like to make fun of people and had a very bad taste.

It was not excessive, but annoying enough.

He stood up with a blank face and walked to the cabinet.

She seemed to like the cup, and it would be inappropriate to throw it away.

He opened the cabinet door, shifted the cup, and tucked it into the innermost corner.

Then, like an obsessive-compulsive disordered person, he arranged and combined the rest of the cups again. Until he knew that the front cup was neatly lined up in a row, he was relieved and closed the cabinet door. It would be better if she didn’t do these things again.

After doing all that, he walked slowly to the refrigerator, ready to cook bread for lunch.

Wen Long was away at noon, so he had to take care of his own lunch.

He actually didn’t like to eat the food he cooked. He followed the exact steps as the ones on the Internet, but always found the taste weird…

While he opened the refrigerator door, he thought of Wen Long’s, “It’s delicious.”

Was it really that delicious?

He remembered the day’s breakfast in which the eggs were blackened and the soy milk tasted strange.

But she said it was delicious…that should be it.

Yu Li opened the refrigerator door and took out a bag of ready-to-eat pasta. The sauce in it was ready, and he only needed to process it a little.

“Huh?” His eyes stopped suddenly.

What was that? The day before, it was not there yet.

He stared at an extra large plastic bag in the refrigerator for a moment. There were many small black packages in there, but it was not clear what they were.

Yu Li thought for a while and decided to see what that strange thing that suddenly appeared in his refrigerator was.

He never let go of things of unknown origin easily…

He needed to know every item in the house.

Yu Li had no sense of privacy, and it was even more impossible for him to respect other people’s privacy. When he maintained that fake face outside, he could still pretend, but once he returned to his comfortable surroundings, his true face would be revealed.

He even checked everything that Wen Long moved in. Of course that was done secretly.
