Meng Ting was scared of him. She had a bad feeling and wanted to leave when she turned around.
Jiang Ren smiled and blocked her retreat, “What are you afraid of?”
Meng Ting raised her eyes to his chest. She took two steps back, “Why are you annoying, Jiang Ren?”
He curled his lips, “I have exercised restraint. I really don’t want to hurt you. They said that the new nurse’s injection method is not good and I’m afraid you will be hurt.”
“I want to go back.”
“I will let you go back after the injection.” He was silent, “After you finish the injection, I won’t pester you.”

The head nurse flicked the needle and raised her eyes.

The head nurse said softly, “Don’t be nervous. Close your eyes and don’t look.”

Jiang Ren said, “Where are you going?”

She’s a very go with the flow personality until sge reaches her limit. Guess she assumes he’ll be going back home soon so it’s easier to humor him as long as he doesn’t push too close. She thinks he’s just playing with the new pretty girl anyway and will tire and move on
