She looked at him hesitantly.

Her light brown pupils were beautiful and clear. He was lost for a moment as his heart beat faster.

He forgot what he wanted to ask. It seemed that it didn’t matter anymore.

The glimpse of yesterday was really not a dream.

He took a box out of the bike and stuffed it into her hand.

It was heavy.

He realized the gap between him and her for the first time.

She was still wearing the school uniform with a high ponytail, her long soft hair hung down. She was unspeakably well-behaved and youthful. Her temperament was obviously the kind of good student who didn’t mix with people like him.

The first ranker in the school next door.

He wanted to get close to her, but remembered what He Junming said yesterday. She was different from Shen Yuqing and she looked down on him, such an unruly guy.

“Take it, I’m leaving.”

He got on the bike after speaking and wore the helmet. Jiang Ren didn’t go to class until he left her. He was crazy.

He stayed up all night last night, looking for that stuff in the city. It was too difficult. He rode back at six o’clock and waited for her at the school gate.

The night wind was very cold, he was out all night. He was not at all awake, but became more and more crazy. After searching all night, he finally found the thing in the planting area.

He didn’t want to bully her at first, really.

Meng Ting opened the little heavy box.

Inside the box, there was a basket, neatly inside, containing a basket of small strawberries with morning dew.

It was early when Meng Ting came to the classroom. There were only two people in the class. One was the monitor, Guan Xiaoye. He came first to open the classroom door.

There was also Hong Hui. He was the student who worked the hardest in the class. It was said that he waited until eleven o’clock to go back to do his homework and read books every night, but his grades were always low and he stayed in the middle of the class ranking.

When Meng Ting walked in, Guan Xiaoye saw her first.

Then his pen accidentally drew a thick line on the paper, looking at Meng Ting with a blank stare.

Meng Ting was a little uncomfortable, but still gently said, “Good morning.”

She sat down in her seat. Hong Hui noticed that the person next to him opened the chemistry book excitedly: “Meng Ting, you are here. I thought about this elemental reasoning question for a long time yesterday. After filling copper sulfate here I can’t solve it, can you…”

Meng Ting took his chemistry book and the black water-based pen on it had been revised repeatedly, proving that Hong Hui had calculated it carefully.

She lowered her long eyelashes, pondered for a moment and had the answer in her mind. She took out a piece of draft paper and said in a soft tone: “This is not copper sulfate. Look at the series of reactions described earlier, which are different from copper sulfate.”

She used draft paper to calculate the chemical formula. She had a clear mindset. She wrote and talked slowly, fearing to disturb Guan Xiaoye. Her tone was light to almost soft and she finished a reasoning question soon.

“Do you understand it?” She raised her eyes and saw the absent-minded Hong Hui’s face burst into red, all the way to the roots of his ears.

Meng Ting frowned. Hong Hui stammered: “Understand, understand.”

For the first time Hong Hui, who loved learning and only knew to study, didn’t even know what she said.

Like Guan Xiaoye, he was bewildered by unspeakable shock.

This person was… his deskmate Meng Ting?

Hong Hui still remembered that when he changed positions to be at the desk with Meng Ting, the bad-mouthed boys in the class joked: “Yo Hong Hui, you got to be at the same table with her. You got the rare chance of seeing something beautiful.” He made an action that imitated blind people’s scratching.

Hong Hui was a little angry: “Meng Ting is the first ranker.”

“Only the first in the eyes of nerds hahaha!”

Before Hong Hui got angry, the girls threw a book over: “If you talk about Meng Ting, I will tell Teacher Fan.”

“Tsk, tell the teacher, how old are you?!” However, there was no further discussion.

In fact, it had always been like this. Every class had some students with poor conduct. Few people in the class would speak out like that as most of them were sympathetic.

But Hong Hui suddenly remembered that the group of people ridiculed “You got the rare chance of seeing something beautiful” that day.

You got the rare chance of seeing something beautiful…

Boys at the age were also sensitive to that aspect no matter how rigid they were.

His face blushed and he felt that he could hardly sit down, so he absently picked up the piece of paper and saw Meng Ting’s delicate handwriting reasoning process. Fortunately, after a long time, he finally calmed down.

He didn’t think about it before, but sitting next to Meng Ting was unspeakable.

It was not uncomfortable… it was just easy to get distracted.

Her eyes got better, she was so beautiful!

Meng Ting began to practice reasoning questions about biological hereditary traits. That year, the test paper had not yet become a national paper. The question types of the college entrance examination were relatively fixed and routine.

The last big question in the test paper must be a trait inference question.

She didn’t take the college entrance examination in her previous life. She was in school until the last semester of high school  and an accident happened. Burned and disfigured by the fire, she had been recuperating in the hospital. Shortly before the college entrance examination, something happened to Father Shu and Meng Ting missed the college entrance examination.

Since she was back she would not let that happen and wanted to go to university smoothly.

Like other classmates in her heart, she was also full of expectations for the sacred place of university.

At around 7:10am, classmates came one after another.

For the first time since high school for more than a year, the classroom was as quiet as a chicken.

All looked at Meng Ting with an incredible look.

If Meng Ting was so beautiful from the beginning, even if everyone would look at her secretly, they wouldn’t be surprised. Her student ID card was taken in the first year of high school. After looking at the photo for a year, suddenly one day, they found that she was a super beauty and were confused by the contrast.
