After going through the cumbersome related procedures, Xiao Mei didn’t go back to the colony with them but got admitted in the orphanage right then and there.

After they both got in the car, Su Meng looked out the window, and watched the orphanage get smaller behind her, with a worried look. Ling Yucheng turned on the soothing music, and comforted her, “Don’t worry. Although the dean of this orphanage is a little snobbery, he is not bad to the children. Moreover, this orphanage has a good reputation and no major problems.”

Su Meng was a little surprised that Ling Yucheng actually guessed her mind. 

Was her worry so obvious on her face?

“That’s good.” She said in a low voice.

When they arrived at the door of Ling’s house, Su Meng was a little surprised to see a figure dangling by the door. Ling Yucheng also saw him, and asked, “He came to meet you?”

Su Meng bit her lower lip, “It should be.”

“Then you can get out of the car, I’ll go park.”

“Okay.”

Su Meng got out of the car, and walked a few steps towards Jiang Tingzhou. Jiang Tingzhou just took out his cell phone to check the time. As he heard the footsteps, he raised his head and glanced casually at her. After seeing Su Meng, he put the phone back in his pocket and said, “Where have you been?”

Su Meng chose to tell the truth, “I went to the bookstore first, and then… sent Xiao Mei to the orphanage.”

Jiang Tingzhou frowned, “Xiao Mei has gone to the orphanage?”

Jiang Tingzhou and Ling Yucheng weren’t familiar with each other. Although they had heard each other’s name countless times, it was the first time they met.
