However, she still had to register for a visa before leaving. Father Su accompanied her to do it.
She really wanted to go abroad for the interview, so Father Su didn’t say anything about going home for the Chinese New Year. He only said a lot of things about her winning glory for the country, told her not to be nervous, and said that when it broadcast, he would definitely watch it.
When he went back, he told the old man Su about it.
Mother Su said nothing, and Grandma Su said directly, “Interview her? What good is interviewing her? Those foreigners just have nothing to do!”
Her tone was rather sour, “If they want to interview, they should also interview Yangyang!”
Su Xingyang: …
Zhou Qing was going to have a Chinese New Year, but Western media didn’t have a Chinese New Year holiday. Zhou Qing wanted to give her two days off so that she could come back. Unexpectedly, she did not intend to go back.
Su Xingchen’s little video of climbing the wall was not immediately popular after being transmitted to Western media, but someone first saw this small video and was amazed with the “Chinese Kung Fu”. They thought they could also jump over two-meter high walls and then began to imitate this video, resulting in an imitation fever, and someone had been constantly uploading her imitating video of the wall-climbing action, so that the popularity of this video in foreign media got higher. When Su Xingchen match was over, this video was still gaining momentum abroad.
The media that wanted to interview Su Xingchen had made a noise saying that they would interview Su Xingchen. The ratings had skyrocketed at the very beginning of this episode.
On one hand, they were very curious about Kung Fu, and at the same time they had doubts about Kung Fu.
The media interviewing Su Xingchen was called “Tonight’s appointment” It was a live talk show. Since it could be ranked the highest in the NBC live talk show, the popularity of the show itself was high. The host was also a well known name in the country.
When she saw Su Xingchen, she was very surprised and asked her, “You must be underage.”
After learning and training in English during this period, Su Xingchen made great progress in English. She nodded with a smile, “Yes, 17 years old.”
“Wow,” the host expressed her surprise. She sat with Su Xingchen behind a large table measuring 2 m long and 1.2 meter wide. She pulled out the topic to Kung Fu, “We saw a video on the Internet before.”
The big screen behind lit up, playing the video of Su Xingchen climbing the wall.
“Everyone is discussing whether you could do it with Chinese Kung Fu, but there were also many people who didn’t believe it. They think that Kung Fu is just a flamboyant fist and legs show. I heard that in your country, old people do things like this …” She stretched her hand strangely twice, causing the audience to laugh and then said, “Then is this Kung Fu?” Her hand again made a mess of circles, and showed a twisted gesture, “Tai Chi!”
The audience laughed again.
She withdrew her hand. The middle-aged foreign woman, who was around forty years old, opened her hands innocently and expressed helplessness, “I also wanted to believe in Kung Fu. It is clear that your Kung Fu seems powerful.”
As she turned sideways, she looked back at the big screen behind her. A few videos of young foreigners imitating her climbing the wall were broadcasted on the big screen.
“We also invited a few young people who watched your video and they expressed their interest in Kung Fu. Can you give us a live demonstration? Oh right.” She smiled and seriously asked her, “Do you need anything else?”
Although she smiled, there was no lack of contempt in her eyes, contempt for her and disapproval of Kung Fu in her tone.
“Of course,” Su Xingchen smiled.
The host exclaimed a particularly exaggerated cry, “Wow!”
She took the lead to applause, but there was a feeling of watching a clown perform. The audience burst into laughter and clapped their hands to watch the lively scene.
Su Xingchen always had a polite smile on her face. She sat there calmly. Her hands were on the table. Her fingers lightly tapped on this thick table. She asked the host, “What material is this table made of?”
The host deliberately made an exaggerated surprised expression, “Are you going to split this table in two? This is alloy.”
The audience laughed again.
The table in front of her was more than 2 m long and 1.2 m wide. The table was thick and heavy. It was estimated to weigh three to four hundred pounds.
She certainly didn’t think Su Xingchen could smash the table with one palm, but just said it on purpose.
“Of course not.”
Su Xingchen said to the audience with a smile, “Speaking of Tai Chi before, Tai Chi is actually very simple. Many elderly people practise it and it also has a formula …” Then, she took the chair back. She didn’t even stand up, she just sat on the chair, her hands moved in a very random way. As she moved slowly, she smiled and said, “A big watermelon, cut in half with a knife… left half,” she said this in unskilled English. Despite this, the audience in front of her still laughed a lot.
She was still doing soft and slow movement and stroked, “The right half …”
This weak movement suddenly snapped on the edge of the long table in front of her and with a bang the alloy table of hundreds of pounds fell out of the ground and smashed straight into the auditorium!
The audience who laughed a few seconds ago, were stuck. All of them watched with their eyes wide open in surprise, covered their mouths with both hands, and looked at the hundreds of pounds of tables that flew over. One was stunned, leaned back, raised his hands to block his face. The table landed smoothly within three centimeters of him.

Where do they get this silly idea that westerners somehow disdain eastern martial arts?
eMpi
The thing with eastern martial arts is that they are gloryfied in their respective countries and there are a lot of charlatans peddling so called ancient eastern martial arts.
There is a chinese MMA fighter who smashed every “master” of eastern martial arts into the ground, Xu Xioadong. In china they depict tai chi as this all powerful martial art mostly for propaganda and unity and the MMA dude won every fight in mere seconds against every tai chi master he was up against, as a respons his social score was reduced, he cant take a train, fly, or do anything that the government has a hand in, they also agreed to let him fight only when wearing a clown makeup.
So i can see where this distatse for eastern martial art may come from, since they largely proclaim themselves the strongest when any amateur MMA fighter can kick their asses.

I swear when I become a mom I’ll treat my daughter like a princess, what is this trash!?
How can a mother treat her daughter like that?
Absolutely disgusting to be so biased against a person like that. Forget daughter, people don’t even treat strangers so terribly.
